Computer engineers research, design, develop, test and oversee the manufacturing and installation of computer hardware, including computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems, keyboards, router, mouse, and printer. Computer software engineering involves designing and development of software systems that control computers. The work of computer engineers and electronic engineers are closely related.
All Engineering courses have duration of five (5) years.
English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
Computer engineers also work where electrical/electronic engineers work. Typical employers of computer engineers are telecommunication firms, information technology firms, oil companies, a high-tech manufacturing firm, engineering firms and industries. The employment opportunities are wide.
