Electrical/electronic engineers conduct research, and design, develop, test and oversee the development of electronic systems and manufacture of electrical and electronic equipment and devices. They design, develop, test and supervise the manufacture of electrical equipment.
This equipment includes electric motors, machinery controls, radar and navigation systems, communications systems and power generation, control and transmission devices used by electric utilities. The electrical engineer also designs the electrical system of automobiles and air craft.
The terms electrical and electronic engineering often are used interchangeably in universities. Electrical engineers focus on the generation and supply of power while electronics engineers work on the applications of electricity to control systems or signal processing.
All Engineering courses have duration of five (5) years.
